1. How do power and authority change hands over the course of the play?
2. Discuss how minor characters such as George Murchison, Willy Harris, and Mr. Lindner represent the ideas against which the main characters react.
3. What sort of statement does Hansberry seem to be making about race? Does she make more than one statement? If so, do these statements conflict with each other?

The power and authority plays a big role in this story. Many additional characters changed the ways of the main characters think and the wat they acted. Many bthings were starting to be discussed in this chapter such as race. Though this has caused many conflicts, she contines to go on in her train of thoughts.

Minor characters in this corse of the play cause major conflicts between the family and it also has brought them alot of tension. Rasicim and fruad was the main point of confusion. thier has been conflicts from conartist to racism. The main characters rected in a which would have been totally expected of them. If we were put into the same position we probabaly would have done the same thing.

I believe that Hansberry was trying to create a simple thought towards people who have diffierent opinons about race. I feel that she was trying to get the point across of how harsh and cruel racism could be. She expresses pain as well as growth in the duration of this play. Of course this has caused opinions to rise and conflicts to start. This however became the climax of the story.
